Stand und Entwicklung der Gasturbinentechnik

Gas turbines in simple cycle or combined gas and steam turbines today offer the world a highly efficient energy supply with simultaneous, intensive environmental protection. The improved combustion systems of gas turbines guarantee extremely low pollutant emissions and the high efficiency of gas turbines not only conserve fuel resources, but also contribute towards reducing the greenhouse effect. Continuous development in recent years has enabled efficiencies in combined processes of up to 58 % and an availability of the plants of up to 96 %. This report is intended to show the current state of development and future development aims.
