HIV-positive patients are the essential source for socially signifi cant virus and bacterial infectious diseases. Sera from HIVpositive patients have been studied on presence of viruses of hepatitis C, B (HBV, HCV) and Micobacterium tuberculosis (МBТ) by the method of PCR. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis and parenteral hepatites in epidemiological conditions of Irkutsk should be included in group of AIDS indicative diseases, and in case of detection of HCV or extrapulmonary tuberculosis in a patient it is necessary to survey him on presence of HIVinfection.
