Storylines in Tasmania

Tasmania appears to be the most remote in the Storylines' Projects national survey of Indigenous artists from outside the heartlands of the Centre and Top End. Tasmania's remoteness as a site of Aboriginal art production is as much temporal as it is physical, a disjunction that resonates closely with the colonial and recent history of Aboriginal Tasmania.
