Remodeling Equality-the Social Function of Adult Education

If the primary education,secondary and higher education in the existing education system can be seen as "initial distribution" of educational resources,the adult education can be regarded as "secondary distribution" of educational resources.Its social function should be located in the value that is "remodeling equality".Its meaning is to promote the equitable secondary distribution of education resources,in order to compensate for uneven individual development which caused by the unfair educational starting point or idle youth.Adult education can also enlighten the people,so that each individual can get chances to change their economic fortunes and political destiny through active learning."Remodeling equality" adult education is the continuation of traditional and modern Chinese understanding of the educational value,as well as bearer of the contemporary Chinese educational hope.
