Application of Case-based Design in SolidWorks

The further development of 3D CAD software SolidWorks and case-based reasoning(CBR) were researched.On the basis of the design resource database,SolidWorks2004 was further developed by using VB to accomplish the case-based rapid telescope design.The plugging was integrated in the SolidWorks2004,and by using the system the brake of the telescope was designed rapidly.The practice shows the process of the system is easy and the efficiency of design is much higher.
