Preparation of a root extract filipendula ulmaria and cosmetic uses

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a root extract of Filipendula ulmaria and a root extract directly obtained by such a method and to a cosmetic composition comprising as active agent at least one root extract obtained by a method according to the invention. The cosmetic composition according to the invention can be used in methods of energizing treatments or defatiguants skin.
