Abstract : This research covered finite rate kinetics critical in reactive fluid mechanics. Common detailed kinetic models are computationally expensive. Given current computational resources it is desirable to reduce kinetics. Common reduced kinetics strategies include 1) fully frozen limit; 2) fully equilibrated limits; 3) simple one and two step models; 4) partial equilibrium and steady-state assumptions; and 5) sensitivity analysis.
