The method comprises following steps that: the terminal detects that the vehicle terminal bound with the terminal has a resource obtaining demand; the vehicle terminal is equipped with a vehicle identifier; the terminal sends a resource obtaining request to a server according to the resource obtaining demand; on the basis of preset network connecting resources, the terminal receives the object resource returned by the server according to the resource obtaining request; the terminal transmits the object resource to the vehicle terminal based on a preset communication channel; and the communication channel is the data transmitting channel built between the terminal and the vehicle terminal. According to the method and terminals of the invention, the object resource of the vehicle terminal is downloaded from the server by the terminal, in this way, the downloading traffic of the vehicle terminal can be reduced; and the downloading speed is improved.
