Integrating teaching in order to increase students' physical activities

The results of the most recent research indicate a tendency of physical activity reduction among children of all ages. With the aim to increase their physical activities the paper theoretically considers the possibility of integrating physical education classes with other teaching subjects. Presented are some examples of integrative, interdisciplinary approaches applied so far and some practically applicable techniques are suggested. It is necessary that in educational practice, within the realization of educational goals and tasks, each teaching subject incorporates activities which will stimulate and increase physical activities of children in Serbia.
