P110. Hsp70 and Hsp27 expression during medium-term oral carcinogenesis assay induced by 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide

Beedi smokers (2.65%) and chewers of pan with tobacco (2.3%) had more prevalence of leukoplakia compared to other form of smoking and chewing habits. Present study showed that tobacco users having the habit for the past 2–5 years of duration had higher prevalence of oral mucosal conditions. Discussion: The present study showed that tobacco use in any form caused oral mucosal conditions. The different forms of tobacco use along with duration of use had its significant effect on severity of oral mucosal and periodontal condition.
