Aluminum alloy sheet for structural material

In the present invention, a 7000-series aluminum alloy sheet of specific composition maintains high strength with a balance between the Mg content and Zn content while the Zn content is controlled. The sheet, which is manufactured using ordinary methods, is imparted with the corrosion resistance, moldability, and high strength demanded of a structural material, by controlling the average compositional ratio of Zn and Mg in an grain boundary precipitate when the manufactured sheet is aged at room temperature and the average compositional ratio of Zn and Mg in an intragranular precipitate of the sheet after an artificial age-hardening treatment is further carried out thereon.
