Two new triterpenes and a new coumaroyl glucoside from the twigs of Mangifera foetida Lour.

Abstract Three new compounds, two triterpenes, mangiferenes A ( 1 ) and B ( 2 ), and one coumaroyl glucoside, mangiferzene glucoside ( 3 ), along with 19 known compounds were isolated from the crude acetone extract of the twigs of Mangifera foetida Lour. Their structures were determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data. The antioxidant and antibacterial activities of the isolated compounds were evaluated.
