Present Situation and Thinking of Pharmaceutical Distribution System in China

Objective:To analyze the situation of the pharmaceutical distribution market in China,summarize the problems,and propose some policy proposals for the pharmaceutical distribution market.Methods:Analyzing the construction of the concept and denotation of "pharmaceutical distribution" deeply,by the review of the historical reform in this area,the international comparison and statistical data.Results:At this stage,too many pharmaceutical distribution companies in China are small and uneven,and the distribution market is disorder.These are the mainly reasons for the high prices of the drug and the high cost of health service in China.Conclusion: Through the full introduction of market mechanisms and the strengthening of supervision system,the reform of compensation mechanisms in public hospitals is explored.It is expected to improve the status of drug supply chain in China with a systematic view on the pharmaceutical distribution market.
