Observation of clinical effects of red ginseng peptide ionotherapy on female facial skin properties

Objective To study the effects of red ginseng peptide ionotherapy on female facial skin properties. Methods Sixty volunteers were randomly divided into basic treated group ,special treated group and control group. The basic treated group accepted 5 times treatment, once a week. The special treated group accepted 10 times treatment. once every 4 days and no treatment for the control group. Visia and CK complexion analysis system and questionnaires were used for assessment before and after the treatment. Results Questionnaires results revealed that red ginseng peptide ionotherapy was effective (P0.05). Complexion analysis system results revealed that evenness, pores, moisture and resilience improved signficantly in basic treated group (P0.05), while in special treated group wrinkles, and telangiectasia improved significantly besides evenness, pores, moisture and resilience (P0.05). There was no significant changes in the control group. Conclusion Red ginseng peptide ionotherapy can improve the female facial skin, the enhance treatment is more effective.
