The purpose of the investigation was to study the risk factors for gallbladder and biliary tract pathologies development in obese people. We examined 65 patients with chronic noncalculous cholecystitis, 73 patients with chronic noncalculous cholecystitis and first-degree obesity, aged from 18 to 35. Biological, social and lifestyle factors were considered. The leading role of lifestyle, nutrition, genetic predisposition and pernicious habits has been established. Indices of relative risk (RR) were calculated: obesity (RR25.2; score -14), genetic predisposition to obesity and pathology of biliary system (RR -23.2; score -14), smoking (RR -9.2; score 10), no breakfast (RR 7.6, score 9), high-carbohydrate diet (RR -8.7; score 9).
