Applying the Reflection Model

2013
“This chapter outlines the models used to fit AGN spectra in order to extract spin information, as well as the complexities involved in applying these models and in AGN spectral fitting, in general. The various physical components of AGN are described, as well as their typical manifestation in X-ray spectra. We also review the merits of employing both time-averaged and time-resolved spectroscopy in order to understand the physical properties of these SMBH systems.”
