Use of PMU-data when carrying out real-time supervisory controlis aimed at increasing efficiency of real-time supervisory control and the level of technical excellence of modern electric power mode automatic control system. At the beginning of 2017 SMPR (WAMS) has been created and functions within UPS Russia providing opportunity to use PMU-data in order to carry out real-time supervisory control: - Russian SMPR (WAMS) hardware facilities have been created and successfully implemented at UPS Russia electric power facilities; - more than 80 SMPR (WAMS) HSCs have been installed at electric power facilities, including more than 500 PMU; - in major control center, real-time supervisory control offices as well as in regional supervisory control offices in Tyumen and Saratov AS SI SMPR has been put into commercial operation; - PC PhasorPoint has been put into commercial operation ensuring real-time monitoring of low-frequency oscillations using archival data. Current technical characteristics and level of development of PMU-data ensure possibility to use the technology for various practical tasks. Practical examples of use of data on synchronized vector measurements in order to carry out real-time supervisory control and monitor operating state of electric equipment at electric power facilities.
