The external risk recognition for overseas project contracting is always considered as high risk in engineering circle,and its influence on the projects are subversive.In order to prevent the external risk of overseas project contracting,based on long time overseas project constructing experience and in the combination of practical project cases,the external risk is explained and classified again,and the characteristics of political risk,contract risk,economic risk,technical risk and construction risk are pointed out.In the light of the conditions of 5 risks,the countermeasures area put forward.
