The analysis of Lassa fever clinical picture from positions of specificity of the most often signs and sets of symptoms is reviewed. The reasons of difficulties are specified at Lassa fever diagnosis in case of importation of this nosological form to Russia. Complexity of this disease diagnosis from group of contagious viral hemorrhagic fevers by clinical criterion is one of major factors of high epidemic potential of Lassa fever.
