An initial study on the relationship between HCV infection and HLA-A2 antigen distribution in donors in Xi^an

1998
We have comparatively analyzed the frequency of HLA I antigens in 15donors(case group) infected by HCV and 15 health donors(control group). The results show that the frequencies of HLA-A2,All,B40,B15 are 26.67%,33.33%,6.67%,20.00%in case group and 73.33%,40.00%,6.67%,6.67% in control group. The difference of HLA-A2 frequency in case group and control group is significant (P<0.05). It indicates that HLA-A2antigen may be related to HCV infection and carrier status in donor population in Xi^an.
