문화적 기억, 역사 그리고 시공

In my discussion Shanghai is a metropolis where different nations, societies, cultures, linguistic codes and texts collide and amalgamates together, which a lot of information is current and is consisted of indistinct, various cultures. She shows, so to speak, a bizarre "heterogeneous culture" that is composed of the boundaries of different time-space and language. The space of heterogeneous culture not only yields unexpected sense which comes from inter-combination, impact between disjunctive culture codes, but also affords probability of various transmission and interpretation. In this city, Shi Zhecun and Zhang Ailing with modernist sense and imagination depict the experience of uncertain and disruptive modernity in Shanghai by using a form of unique time-space. In general their texts premise the contact and collision of multiple time-space. I will analyze that Shi Zhecun's historical fiction, Zhang Ailing's "Qingcheng zhi lian" and "Fengsuo" that regard narrative to across the boundary of time and space as axis, take characters and readers to historical time-space of multiple text. Its world is divided into some boundaries, and the narrative to across that each boundary breaks down successive, vertical transmission system between past and present, and seek communication of both. Therefore this article will illuminate how past relics oppressed and cultural memory are incarnated, and how they are transformed through heterogeneous culture code in two author's writing which shows wandering on boundary between the past and present. Besides, this essay will discuss the experience of complex cultural juxtaposition, identity, transmission of desire and the problem of historical explanation following with it.
