This article provides general information about the synthesis and properties of glatiramer acetate (GA) substance, and formulates the principles and methods of verifying pharmaceutical identity of the GA substance and related drugs – INN copaxone and generic aksoglatiran FS. Registration certificate No. LP-003572 of 18.04.2016 was issued for the first domestic GA-based generic drug Aksoglatiran FS.
