Study on Adsorption Process of Oxalic Acid from Mother Liquor of 2-keto-L-gulonic acid by D301 Anion Exchange Resin

2010
To separate oxalic acid from mother liquor of 2-keto-L-gulonic acid, the static and dynamic adsorption process of oxalic acid by D301 anion exchange resin are studied, the data are fitted by freundlich adsorption isotherm equation. The result shows, the equilibrium adsorption data onto D301 anion exchange resin are well correlated with Freundlich adsorption isotherm equation, the correlative coefficients all exceeded 0.99 at 293 K,303 K and 313 K and when the pH is 6,temperature is 313 K,velocity of flow is 30 mL/min,the adsorption quantity is the maximum. These research give an effective way for separating or recycling oxalic acid from mother liquor of gulonic acid,in addition, the method can reduce the COD value, then reduce pollution.
