Teletransmission of electrocardiogram in emergency medical services

One of the most important elements in the process of treatment of patients in life-threatening conditions is the fastest possible acquisition of information obtained by members of the MRT through subjective and physical examination by medical staff (caring for patients in several different places). Rapid data exchange is possible thanks to the use of electronic medical doc-umentation and its availability with the use of telemedicine sys-tems. The authors discussed the benefits and barriers to the im-plementation and development of telemedicine systems in medi-cal rescue.
