Gas Solubility in Binary Liquid Mixtures: Carbon Dioxide in Cyclohexane + Cyclohexanone

2011
Experimental results are presented for the pressure above liquid mixtures of carbon dioxide and cyclohexane + cyclohexanone. The experiments were performed at a preset temperature and liquid phase composition by means of a precise high-pressure view-cell technique based on the synthetic method. The studied temperatures are: (313, 353, and 392) K. The maximum pressure was about 5.5 MPa. The gas free mole fractions of cyclohexanone are: 0, 0.3, 0.6, 0.8, and 1. From the data, Henry's law constants of carbon dioxide in the studied liquid mixtures and the pure components are calculated.
