Device utilizing adjustable resistance method to curb DC of neutral point of transformer

2012
The invention relates to a device capable of curbing DC of a neutral point of a transformer in the high-voltage power transmission and transformation process, in particular to a device utilizing an adjustable resistance method to curb DC of the neutral point of the transformer. The device comprises an adjustable resistance circuit, a state conversion switch circuit and an overvoltage bypass circuit, wherein the three circuits are connected in series between the neutral point of the transformer and an earth electrode after being connected in parallel, and the value of the adjustable resistance circuit is among 1-4 Omega. According to the invention, a resistor is connected in series with the DC neutral point of the transformer to cut off the DC of the neutral point, so that a resistance value can be set to curb the DC of the neutral point of the transformer without the combination of other devices by adjusting the parameter, and especially, a relay protection setting value is not required to be reset. When a state conversion switch is in an off state, the neutral point of the transformer is grounded through the adjustable resistance circuit, so as to block the current of the neutral point. And moreover, the device has the advantages of simple structure and high reliability, and improves the starting reliability of the overvoltage bypass circuit.
