Cumene dehydrogenation on silica-pillared rectorite

1994
Abstract The main reaction of cumene on silica-pillared rectorite is the dehydrogenation reaction, the main product is α-methylstyrene. The dehydrogenation activity of cumene greatly increases after transition metal cation modification, especially Fe 3+ cation. The active site in the silica-pillared rectorite is the framework tetrahedral Fe-O 4 cluster.
