Comparative study of the floods of the Tagus and Douro rivers, in Portugal

Some preliminary data of the comparative study, which began in 1999, of the Tagus and Dourorivers' floods in the Portuguese part of their course are presented here. The different physical restrictions of both hydrographic basins, as well as the distinctive data possible to attain, have imposed the use of also different methodologies for this study.
