EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WORKING GROUP YOUNG ASTRONOMERS EVENTS

The proposed actions were (i) a Young Astronomers Lunch Debate, and (ii) a Young Astronomers Consulting Service, as first steps to answer to the concerns expressed by the previous EC: • to make the IAU better known among the young generation astronomers, • to identify how the IAU serves and aims to serve the interest of young astronomers, • to stimulate young astronomers to become actively involved in IAU’s programs and activities.
