Wall‐less microwave cavity for optical detection of magnetic resonance

This paper describes a versatile TE011 cavity for 35‐GHz optical detection of magnetic resonance (ODMR) spectroscopy. The cavity provides not only wide optical access but also a high Q factor. A novel design, including externally adjustable coupling and fine frequency tuning, allows quick and simple changing of samples and provides a facility to apply uniaxial stress.
