Nonreturn valves in occlusion pumps in heart and lung machines

1. Tests have been performed on roller-type occlusion pumps with and without nonreturn valves at the output from the pump and have shown that it is possible to reduce the magnitude of the fluctuations in the heart and lung machine and to increase the flow by eliminating into the elastic chamber.
