Creating a Comprehensive Sleep Center in an Otolaryngology Practice

Program Description:With increased demand of patients seeking treatment for obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS), diagnosis of OSAHS will become an increasingly significant component of every ENT practice. Surgical treatment will remain an option for selected patients Explain options for attended and unattended polysomnography. Review new techniques and clinical research on OSAHS. Review CPT coding and reimbursement expectations for diagnostic studies, non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures. Identify patients with mild/moderate disease (continuous positive airway pressure intolerant) who could benefit from minimally-invasive and non-invasive techniques.
