The degree of adaptation of individuals to the organization, their characteristics, the attitudes and roles adopted by individuals determine the level of job satisfaction and intention to leave (ITL) within the organization. Accordingly, one's ITL is formed by adopting certain behaviors and attitudes within the organization. This study investigates what kind of a mediating role can job satisfaction has in the person-organization (P-O) fit on the ITL. The data were obtained by applying questionnaire to 303 people by including 14 different sectors operating in Ankara and Eskisehir. According to the results, it was found that job satisfaction has a partial mediation role in the P-O fit on the ITL. Results indicate that there is a negative relationship between P-O fit and ITL.
