A head (10) of brush, suitable for being held by a cleaning device, the brush head comprising: a plurality of layers (11, 12) of a material, one above the other to form a stack of such layers; wherein the stack has a compressed region (16); wherein at least one of an upper or lower layer (18) of the compressed region has an indentation (17); and wherein at least one of the layers has been pierced (19) at the indentation to interlock that layer with another layer of the stack.
