Low velocity impact behaviour of surface treated glass fibre reinforced epoxy matrix hybrid composites

Abstract This task is intended to perform impact tests with a low-speed test on the specimen. The tests are carried out to improve their tolerance of impact so that they can be used for realistic applications in the real world. The specimen is treated with acid and a base for one day. By the hand-laying method, the specimen shall be prepared. Microscopy of the electron scanning is carried out in order to receive data on the surface topography of the affected specimen. Various low speed experiments have been evaluated in this paper.
