Forgery preventing latent image printed matter and printing method therefor

1992
PURPOSE:To prevent forgery and interpolation and to easily distinguish the forgeries from the originals by a method wherein in a title printed matter, such as a bank note, a fine linear pattern or the like is so printed on a printing material as to be raised using ink of a color approximating that of the material, and thereon a large number of printing lines are printed at fixed intervals using color ink of a different color in parallel or inclinedly to said raised printing lines. CONSTITUTION:Using an intaglio printing plate surface made of a fine straight- line pattern 1 of straight lines partially arranged at different angles for representing a picture pattern, a large number of raised straight printing lines 6 are formed on white paper 5 by intaglio printing using white intaglio printing ink having hiding properties. Thereon, a large number of straight printing lines 2 are formed in parallel or inclinedly to said numerous straight printing lines 6 by offset printing using color ink other than white, colorless, and transparent ink. In this manner, a latent image printed matter A is obtained.
