Study of the kinetics and thermodynamics of thermal breakdown of reticular polymers of dimethacrylic esters of n-Alkalene glycols☆

The thermal breakdown of the reticular polymers of dimethacrylic esters of n-alkylene glycols has been studied. It has been established that thermal degradation of the polymers proceeds in two stages for which the effective kinetic parameters have been determined. The influence of the structure of the dimethacrylic esters of n-alkylene glycols on the heat stability of the polymers and the link of the latter with the thermodynamic parameters of the systems studied is examined.
