One can view the field of blood coagulation with wonder, noting that with few exceptions, the bulk of the studies is carried out in test tubes, under static conditions. The obvious point that blood flows and that coagulation processes must take place under conditions of flow (even if only slow flow) is somehow lost or dis regarded.
