Modelo metodológico “HODIA”, basado en la teoría de procesos conscientes, para mejorar el logro de competencias del área de comunicación

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to propose and apply the Methodological Model based on the Theory of Conscious Processes to improve the achievement of competences in communication area. The study was carried out with a population of 195 students from the tannery degree and a sample of 62 students, of whom 31 formed the experimental group and 31 the control group. This was a quasi-experimental research, which is why the classic design with pre and post-test was used. The sample selection was with a non-probabilistic sampling. For the collection of the information, the pre and post test were used, as well as the headings to determine the level of achievement of the competences, as a product of the development of the teaching learning, designed with the use of the methodological model based on the theory of conscious processes. The learning sessions were developed, the pre test and post test were applied, the results were analyzed in a global way and for each competence. In both cases, the post test in the experimental group shows significant results in the achievement of the competences in communication area; as it was demonstrated by the statisticians with a value of (p. 0.01) in the improvement of the evaluation of the competences in communication area, so the hypothesis was demonstrated.
