Comparison of Populations of

Seven accessions (if leucaena Ik-nth, supported significantly different population densities of Hrteropsylla cubana Crawford. The highest populations occurred on the I.. Irucocephala (Lamb.) De Wit accessions K8. K527, and K784, the /.. diversifotw (Schlecht.) Benth. accession K156, and the /- leucocrphala X /_ divmifolia accession K743. The lowest psyllid densities occurred on the /- pnlltdn Britton and Rose accession K376. Accessions K8, K527, and K636 were tlie most severely damaged. Accessions K74S and K156 were often slightly damaged and only occasionally moderately damaged. Only slight damage was observed on accessions K784 and K376. Parasitism of H. cubana by Psyllarphagui yastrni Noyes was low (1.9%), probably due to hyperparasitizat ion levels averaging 39.6%.
