Плейотропные эффекты статинотерапии и их роль в преодолении проблемы полиморбидности

2012
Statins, which were developed for hypolipidemic treatments, are far from the initial purpose own availability and have range of pleiotropic effects. The concept «Pleiotropic»assumes: preparation influence on some targets, starting various biochemical processes in the organism. In addition to their cholesterol-lowering properties, statins exert a number of pleiotropic, vasculoprotective actions that include improvement of endothelial function, increased nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability, inhibition of inflammatory responses by decreasing producing of proinflammatory cytokines and C-reactive protein, anti-ischemic action, antioxidant properties. Statins can stabilizate plaque by increasing the collagen content and inhibiting metalloproteinases. Also, statins can Influence on myocardial hypertrophy, fibrosis and potentiality of their cardioprotective activity, on haemocoagulative and haemorheologic hemostasis Pleiotropic effects of statins therapy include immunosupressive actions and prevention of osteoporosis progression by production of osteoplastic protide growth 2 factor of bone-forming cells proliferation and maturing. The pleiotropic effects of statins offer advantages over other available lipid-lowering agents, as they are effective, well tolerated and can provide additional benefits not only in cardiovascular disorders but in other disease states too.
