Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality, particularly among young people. Understanding the concept of cellular injury, the current management shows advances in medical treatment in the secondary cascade of TBI. The authors show a review study concerning to the possible benefit of progesterone, citocholine, activated recombinant factor VII , endothelin, ciclosporin, amantadine in TBI treatment.
