In the article the control algorithm of tractor/implement units in the technological process of wilted grass silage making. The algorithm provides for generation of a control decision on the basis of the following criteria: throughput of the forage harvester; values of interdependent standby time of the harvester and vehicle; the wheel slip of tractor or vehicle.
