ECONOMIC JUCTIFICATION OF LIGHT HYBRID LINEC DOUBLE MOULTING IN CONDITIONC OF THE ECONOMIC CRIСIС

2011
During the last twenty years worldwide and in our country, more and more, has been using, different methods which artifcially interrupt egg production processes, and after certain period production cycle continues. This process in poultry has been known as moulting. The aim of this research was examination of economic justifcation two times moulted layers during the exploitation period. The research included light hybrid chicken line called HIСEX BROWN. Experimental animals were exposed to identical microclimatic conditions, with identical position in relation to light sources, ventilation, water, feeds and the lagoon. By the analysis of feed consumption per egg produced, it can be observed that layers during the second moulting consumed 81 g (57%) more feed in relation to layers fed during the regular cycle, while this difference is fewer comparing it with amounts of feed consumed per egg during the frst moulting (54 g ili 32%). Obtained income is 41% higher at frst moulting in relation to regular production cycle, while at second moulting income is lower for more than 3.3 times, in relation to regular production cycle, as well. Economic parameters of egg production after the frst moulting show economic justifcation of the application of this biological-technological operation, considering that net income per chicken exceded income in regular production cycle.
