THE MANAGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENTIN CHEMICAL LEARNING MODEL BASED ON RELIGIOUS VALUES FOR STRENGTHENING THE STUDENT'S FINAL ACTION

2019
The Development Research (R&D) develops a learning model to enhance the morals of successful students through learning based on religious values. The population in this study was XII science graders from 3 State and private Madrasah Aliyah in Bandung. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling. With an error rate of 5%, the number of respondents was 180 students representing each madrasa. The data collection tools were a questionnaire, observation guidelines, learning product validation sheets, as well as pretest & posttest question instruments. The research data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods, through limited trials and wider trials using one pretest-posttest design group. The results showed a very valid learning tool with a learning model design through discussion, namely: (1) stimulation, spiritual conditioning, (2) achievement of wisdom, (3) problem negotiation, (4) data collection, (5) data processing, (6) discuss hypotheses, (7) draw conclusions and communicate them, (8) evaluation and reflection. The wider trials showed an increase in learning outcomes from 29.6 to 68.6, with the added value of the N-gain control class 0.3 and the experimental class 0.55. The students 'noble morals observed were religious attitudes, curiosity, convincing, honesty, discipline, responsibility, independence, self-confidence, trusting others and caring for the environment, showing the achievements of students' noble morals using developed  learning models are better than the achievement of noble morals using conventional learning.
