Characters of the University Creative Scientific Research Team in Basic Science——A Case Study of Rutherford-Geiger-Marsden Research Team

E.Rutherford organized a scientific research team,in which H.Geiger and their undergraduate student E.Marsden were the major members,to study the diffuse scattering of α-particles through large angles,and therefore discovered the atomic nucleus.The structure of the team was flat,and it carried out soft management,fruitful communication and team learning.This case arouses us to consider the relations between the abnormal phenomena and original creative research,the basic science lab of university and original creative research,and young students engaged in pioneering research and the growth of creative intellectuals.
