Effects of Output-Input Values on Factory Productivity

A sugarcane factory produces white sugar for national market. Measuring factory productivity is important to understand the factory performance. Factory productivity was measured using Multi Factor Productivity Measurement Model (MFPMM) based on an output input analysis. The results show that yearly factory productivity in the last period was lower than the previous period. The decrease of productivity was affected by decreasing company revenues and increasing input costs. Keywords : Factory productivity; MFPMM, Multifactor; Sugarcane.
