Pyrimidine compound and its use as pharmaceutical

PURPOSE: To obtain the new compound useful as a medicament for the treatment and prevention of hypertension, congestive heart failure, renal failure, CNS disorder or the like, which is composed of an azolo condensed pyrimidine compound and which is an antagonistic material against angiotensin II receptor. CONSTITUTION: The target azolo condensed pyrimidine compound expressed by formula III is obtained by reacting a pyrimidine derivative represented by formula I [R 1 is H, (substituted) 1-8C alkyl, (substituted)2-8C alkenyl, (substituted)phenyl or the like; R 2 is H, (substituted) 1-8C alkyl, (substituted) phenyl or the like; =A-B-is together with pyrimidine ring forms pyrazolo[1,5- a]pyrimidine, [1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine or the like; L a is leaving group] with a compound of formula II [X is O, S, NR 4 (R 4 is H, 1-8C alkyl, phenyl or the like) or the like; R 3 is H or 1-4C alkyl; n is 0 or 1; Ar 1 is 1,4-phenylene or the like; Ar 2 is (substituted)phenyl, (substituted)pyridil or the like; Y is single bond, 1,4-phenylene or the like].
