Single-Rooted Primary Mandibular First Molar: Report of a Rare Morphology

Introduction: The prevalence of dental anomalies and morphologic variations are lower in the primary dentition. Single-rooted primary mandibular first molars are an extremely rare morphologic variation. Case Presentation: This report describes a 5-year-old girl with unilateral single-rooted primary mandibular first molar. The tooth was treated by pulpectomy followed by a stainless steel crown. Conclusions: Knowledge of morphological variations in roots and root canals aids in successful root canal treatment.
