Malnutrition in nursing home and its association with sarcopenia and mortality

of death for patients in the 2 or 3-tertile (altogether: HR=0.66, P=0.015; for 60+: HR=0.55, P=0.018). Key conclusions.– Study results suggest the role of overall diet in the short andmedium longhospitalization effects amongpatients after surgery for CRC. The benefit was higher among patients 60 years and older. Further efforts are needed to prove this association in larger and also other groups of patients.
